Ha'penny Design featured in TheJournal.ie
I was delighted to see our 2026 Irish Locations & Landmarks Calendar included in a recent article on TheJournal.ie.
The piece, “Finally get organised in 2026 with our favourite Irish calendars and planners”, rounds up a selection of Irish-made calendars and planners for the year ahead, and we were delighted to be mentioned alongside so many other thoughtful and well-designed products.
The article highlights our wall calendar as a locally designed and printed piece, featuring 12 original illustrations of well-known Irish locations. It’s always nice to see my work recognised, especially in a publication that supports Irish makers and designers.
Creating this calendar was very much about celebrating familiar places around Ireland in a vibrant, colourful way. As someone who hasn’t migrated to a digital calendar yet, having a beautiful and functional physical calendar and family planner is very important to me. I wanted to create something practical that people can enjoy having on their wall throughout the year, with a new colourful scene from Ireland to display every month of the year.
The 2026 calendar has been a huge hit, thank you to everyone who has bought from us. We have just a few remaining calendars left that can be bought from here:
